Sat/Sun Radiologist Needed in Southern CA

Diagnostic Radiologist – Weekend Coverage (Onsite | Long Beach, CA)
Start Date: ASAP (after credentialing)
Contract Length: 13+ weeks (with potential for extension)

We are seeking a Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologist to provide weekend onsite coverage (Saturday and Sunday).

Schedule & Coverage
Days: Saturday & Sunday
Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (10-hour shifts)
Call: None
Coverage Type: Inpatient, hospital-based
Start: As soon as credentialed
Commitment: Must be available for at least one weekend per month (more preferred)
Pre-Start Orientation: Two weekdays onsite for system setup/training and quality review

Interpret all diagnostic imaging studies that come in during your shift; no carryover to next shift
Read a mix of CT, MRI, ultrasound, and plain films (heavier on CT and X-ray)
Support the emergency and inpatient teams with timely, accurate reads

Board Certification: Required (ABR or equivalent)
State License: Active, unrestricted California medical license
Experience: Minimum 1+ year post-training
Certifications: BLS or ACLS
DEA: Required
