Start Date: December 1, 2025
Contract Length: 13+ weeks, with potential for extension
Coverage Type: Scheduled shifts only (no call)
Setting: Remote coverage for a hospital-based radiology department
Schedule-
Weekdays (Remote):
Day Shift: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (9 hours, variable start)
Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM or 5:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Weekends (Remote):
Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (9 hours)
Priority Coverage: Weekday evenings
Role Overview:
Seeking a Board-Certified Diagnostic Radiologist to join a remote team providing coverage for adult and geriatric patients. The role includes a balanced mix of MRI, CT, ultrasound, and plain film reads, with a heavier emphasis on CT and X-ray. No nuclear medicine, cardiac, or breast imaging.
Preferred: Body imaging experience — prostate reading capability is a significant plus.
Workload
Average: ~80 reads per weekday
Weekends: 150–180 reads
Requirements:
Active, unrestricted California medical license (required)
Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology
Minimum of 1 year of diagnostic experience
DEA and BLS or ACLS certification
EPIC experience (required)
Must be available for full assigned shifts
Clean background and malpractice history required — no exceptions

Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
No procedures required
EMR: EPIC
Support: Hospital-based radiology team
Vaccinations: Not mandatory
Credentialing timeframe: 30+ days (expedited 14 days with emergency privileges)
Willing to license: No (must already hold an unrestricted CA license)
