Schedule:
Weekend coverage only (Saturday and Sunday). Two 10-hour onsite shifts from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Remote coverage is not available. Provider must be able to cover at least one weekend per month. Weekend shifts are high volume, and the radiologist is expected to complete all assigned reads during the shift with no handoff backlog.

Facility & Practice Setting:
Hospital-based inpatient practice with hospital support staff.
EMR/PACS: Epic

Case Mix and Volume:
Mix of CT, MRI, ultrasound, and plain films with heavier emphasis on CT and plain films. No nuclear medicine, cardiac, or breast imaging. Some pediatric ED overflow, though the patient population is primarily adult and geriatric. Weekend volume averages approximately 150–180 reads per day. A second radiologist is onsite from 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Preference for body imagers.

Training and Onboarding Requirement:
Prior to starting weekend shifts, provider must be onsite for two weekday daytime shifts for system setup, training, and quality observation by department leadership.

Requirements:
Board Certified in Radiology. Active, unrestricted California medical license required. CSR is not required.
