Locums Part Time Radiologist Needed in Long Beach (Weekend Coverage)

Job description

Location: Long Beach
Contract Length: 13+ WEEKS
Schedule: Weekend days (8a-6p) onsite, Minimum 2 weekends per month, no call

Clinic details
Practice Setting: Hospital, Inpatient
Patient Volume: The adult diagnostic radiologists’ wRVUs average about 14,000 per year. The adult diagnostic radiologists’ read an average of around 130-140 per weekday, 150 – 180 on weekends
Patient Population: Some peds overflow, but primarily ADULTS (18+ OLDER) AND GERIATRICS
Support Staff: Hospital based support
Cases: Must be able to read everything that comes in the ER, PEDs Trauma MRI CT. Prostate reads highly preferred
Modalities: They do a mix of MRI, CT, ultrasound, and plain films. It will be a good mix of each, heavier on the CT and plain films. No nuclear medicine, cardiac, or breast. We prefer a body imager.
