🩺 Diagnostic Radiologist – Remote Evenings/Weekends | Long Beach, CA

Job description

We are seeking Diagnostic Radiologists for a remote locums opportunity supporting a hospital in Long Beach, CA. This role is focused on evening and weekend coverage with high-volume reads.

Assignment Details:
Coverage: Primarily weekend evenings, some weekday evenings
Weekdays: 3p–12a or 5p–12a
Weekends: 3p–12a
No call

Clinical Responsibilities:
General diagnostic reads (CT-heavy + plain films)
Mix of MRI, CT, ultrasound, and X-ray
Cover ED cases, including occasional pediatric trauma
Solo coverage from 6p–12a—must be comfortable reading independently
Volume:~120–140 reads per shift (up to 150 on weekends)
EMR: Epic (required)

Requirements: Clean background / no malpractice history (strict requirement)
Credentialing:~30 days (as fast as 14 days with emergency privileges)

⭐ Preference for body imaging; prostate MRI experience is a major plus

Great fit for providers comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume remote setting with strong autonomy
