Locum – Diagnostic Radiologist
Schedule and Assignment
- Remote diagnostic radiology coverage; night and swing shifts.
- Shift: 2:00 a.m.–8:00 a.m., any 5 days per week.
- Duration: 9–12 months.
- Start: As soon as credentialed; credentialing may take up to 90 days.
- Openings: 4 providers.
- No call or weekend requirements specified.
Provider Requirements
- Board certification required.
- Active California medical license required.
- Clean malpractice history highly preferred.
- Must reside in California, Colorado, Florida, Arizona, or Utah.
- Must be proficient in reading MRI, CT, ultrasound, and X-ray studies.
Workload and Technology
- Approximately 20–25 ultrasound studies, 25–30 CT/MRI studies, or 150–200 X-rays daily.
- EMR: Cerner.
- PACS: Merge PACS.
- Voice recognition: Nuance PowerScribe 360.
- Workstation provided.
Additional Requirements
- Hospital and foundation privileges are required across multiple hospitals and outpatient clinics.
- Dignity Health Medical Foundation must be listed on the Certificate of Insurance (COI), either separately or alongside the hospital.
