📋 Contract Details
🟢 Anticipated Start Date: May 18, 2026
🟢 Contract Length: 3 months to start, with option to extend
🟢 Contract Type: Locum Tenens / Teleradiology
🟢 Schedule: Overnight and shift-based coverage

🏥 Work Details & Case Mix
🟢 Expected Reads per Shift: ~70–80 reads per 8-hour period
🟢 Primary Read Types: Diagnostic radiology (DX), mostly plain film
🟢 PACS: GE
🟢 Optional Onsite Candidates: Will be considered

🩺 Procedures & Skills Required
🟢 Required:
• Ability to read CTP stroke protocols (high priority)
• MRI-abdomen for OB emergent cases

🟢 Optional / Encouraged:
• MRI-joint studies for independent overnight reading
• US cardiac (cardiologists also read these studies)
• Onsite light interventional radiology

📊 Efficiency Metrics
🟢 Stroke Alerts: 20 mins
🟢 ED STATs: 30–60 mins
🟢 Inpatient STATs: 60 mins
🟢 Critical Results: Communicated <60 mins
🟢 Inpatient TAT: <4 hours complete-to-read
🟢 Outpatient TAT: <6 hours complete-to-read

📋 Candidate Requirements
🟢 Board Certification / Eligibility: BC/BE Diagnostic Radiology required
🟢 Licensure: Active Illinois license (or willing to obtain)
🟢 DEA: Required if onsite coverage
🟢 Experience: Strong diagnostic radiology skills with emphasis on stroke imaging
