Radiologist – Breast Imaging / Interventional Radiology – Michigan
Job description

Schedule
• Part-time or full-time coverage options
• Typical coverage split between two locations
• Many providers work one site Monday–Wednesday and the other Thursday–Friday
• Sites are approximately 3 hours apart
Work Details – Site #1
• Interventional procedures including:
- IR drain placements
- Lumbar punctures
- Fluoroscopy arthrograms
- GI fluoroscopy
- Paracentesis and thoracentesis
- CT and ultrasound guided biopsies
• Breast imaging responsibilities:
- Screening mammography
- Diagnostic mammography
- Stereotactic breast biopsies
- Ultrasound-guided breast biopsies
Work Details – Site #2
• Primary focus on breast imaging
- Screening and diagnostic mammography
- Ultrasound and stereotactic biopsies
- Pre-surgical lesion localization
• Additional procedures may include:
- Thyroid, lymph node, and soft tissue biopsies
- CT-guided lung, organ, and soft tissue biopsies
- Abscess catheter placement
- PICC placements
- Joint arthrogram injections
- HSG studies
- Pain management injections
Requirements
• Board Certified Radiologist (ABR or AOBR)
• Experience with interventional procedures and/or breast imaging
• MQSA preferred for breast imaging
• Clean malpractice history
• Strong professional references
• Michigan license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact license required
Additional Notes
• Client ideally prefers a provider who can cover both locations
• Candidates who specialize in only Breast Imaging or only Interventional Radiology will still be considered
• Multiple coverage configurations may be discussed depending on provider availability
- On-site radiology coverage in Michigan
- Flexible coverage model (Breast Imaging, Interventional Radiology, or both)
- Willing to license
