Radiologist needed for Locums coverage in IN

Job description

Looking for a provider to start ASAP or as soon as credentialed.
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-5p EST.
• One weekend per month in addition to regular weekday coverage.
• Trauma Level: Level III trauma center.
• Primary job duties: Diagnostic imaging, including fluoro and light IR (para, thora, LPs, thyroid biopsy).
• Interventional procedures:
o Paracentesis-approximately 1 per day
o Thoracentesis-hit or miss, maybe 1 every other week (on average)
o Lumbar Puncture- a few each week
o Thyroid FNA and/or biopsy-1 per day
• They do NOT need to a be an IR fellowship Rad.
• Locum Radiologist will first read XR, US and do fluoro/IR studies. Followed by CT/MR if time allows. The inhouse Rads will prioritize the Stat from ED and IP units.
• Patient volume: 70-100 exams/day average (average RVUs range from 60-130 dependent upon provider)
• Support Staff
• Epic EMR, PACS is Merge Unity with Mmodal dictation platform

Open to IN or IMLC license.
Must be board certified.
