Remote Diagnostic Radiologist – Indiana

Job description

An established healthcare system in Merrillville, Indiana is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Diagnostic Radiologists for an urgent, long-term remote locum tenens opportunity beginning August 30, 2026.

The physician will provide overnight remote diagnostic radiology coverage 7 days per week, with shifts from 1:00 AM–8:00 AM CST. Candidates should have a secondary specialty in Body, Musculoskeletal, or Neuro Radiology and must be comfortable cross-reading diagnostic studies regardless of their primary subspecialty.

Coverage will support two hospital locations in the region.

Schedule & Coverage:
Remote/tele-radiology position
Overnight coverage 7 days/week
Shift: 1:00 AM–8:00 AM CST
Major holiday coverage included
No on-call responsibilities
No floating required
Approximately 75 RVUs per shift

Candidate Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years
Indiana medical license required
Clean professional file required
No malpractice history, including dismissed cases
No licensing or legal issues
Must be comfortable with diagnostic radiology cross-reading
Candidates with Body, MSK, or Neuro Radiology expertise preferred
Prior travel/locum experience preferred
