🧠 Interventional Neurologist – Thrombectomy Call Coverage
📅 14 Shifts/Month Available
⏰ 24-Hour Call: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
🏥 Hospital-Based | Stroke-Focused Practice
💻 EMR: EPIC
Practice Highlights
✅ Approximately 165 thrombectomy procedures annually
✅ Flexible scheduling based on provider availability
✅ Join a collaborative team of 9 Neurologists
✅ Dedicated Interventional Radiology team provides thrombectomy and call support
Responsibilities
• Emergency stroke intervention & thrombectomy call
• Perform emergent thrombectomy for acute ischemic stroke patients
• Respond to stroke alerts and urgent callbacks
• Perform image-guided neurovascular procedures
• Manage inpatient neurovascular intervention cases
• Collaborate closely with Neurology and Interventional Radiology teams
Requirements
✔ Fellowship trained in Interventional Neurology, Interventional Neuroradiology, or Interventional Radiology (Required)
✔ Active Iowa License OR Active IMLC with Letter of Qualification (LOQ)
✔ Clean malpractice and background history required
