ER Nurse Practitioner Opportunity – Fredonia, Kansas

Start Date: January/February 2027\
Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Schedule and Coverage

- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Primary Emergency Room and inpatient coverage
- Imaging services provide 24/7 readings with final interpretations through Coaxion

Imaging Turnaround Times

- STAT Emergency Department Exams: Within 60 minutes
- Critical Stroke Exams: Within 20 minutes

Patient Volume

- Average ER Volume (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM): 2.39 patients
- Average ER Volume Over 24 Hours: 5.7 patients
- Average Daily Inpatient Census, including observation, acute care, and swing beds: 2.5 patients

EMR: Cerner Community Works

ER Physician Support

- A full-time physician is also available for additional support.
