Locum Emergency Medicine Physician | Community Hospital ED | Sebring, FL | PRN 12-Hour Shifts, No Call

Job description

Start: January 4, 2027 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: Ongoing PRN coverage
Coverage: Hospital emergency department, single-physician coverage
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:00–19:00 or 19:00–7:00
Call: No call
Volume: About 18,000 annual ED visits; 13-bed ED; 15% admission rate
Practice Setting: Community acute care hospital with a dedicated senior ER

• Emergency evaluation, treatment, and disposition of ED patients
• Single physician coverage with 8 hours of APP coverage (10 hours in season)
• Documentation in MedHost
• Travel covered: flight, lodging, and rental car

Requirements
• ABEM or AOBEM Board Certified
• Active Florida license and DEA required
• ACLS, PALS, and ATLS required
• Must be open to PRN scheduling
• Non-local candidates only (more than 50 miles from the facility)
• Credentialing: approximately 90 days
