Locum Emergency Medicine Physician | Freestanding ED | Downtown Orlando, FL | PRN, ATLS Required

Job description

Start: January 4, 2027 (as soon as credentialed)
Length: Ongoing
Coverage: Freestanding emergency department
Schedule: PRN; day and night shifts available throughout the assignment
Call: None
Volume: Approximately 30 patients per day
Practice Setting: Freestanding Emergency Department, fully integrated with a Level II Trauma Center
ED Details: 11 private patient care beds, dedicated trauma room, dedicated pediatric treatment room; comprehensive stroke and STEMI/heart center support
Admissions: Transported to the main campus with handoff to intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists
Affiliated Sites: Credentialing includes affiliated hospital and freestanding EDs in the Kissimmee, St. Cloud, Hunter's Creek, Millenia, West Orange, and Airport North areas

Requirements:
- ABEM/AOBEM BC/BE Emergency Medicine, or Board Certified Family Medicine with a minimum of 4 years of EM experience and/or an EM fellowship
- ATLS required at time of submittal (no exceptions), plus PALS and ACLS
- Active Florida license and DEA
