Job description

Start: January 4, 2027 (ASAP)
Length: Ongoing
Coverage: Freestanding emergency department, 24-hour physician coverage
Schedule: PRN; day and night shifts available throughout the assignment
Call: None
Volume: About 11,000 annual visits, approximately 1.3 patients per hour
Practice Setting: Freestanding Emergency Department
ED Details: 12 private exam rooms, designated trauma room, x-ray, CT with and without contrast, ultrasound 24/7 on call (30-minute response), onsite lab
EMR: Meditech
Affiliated Sites: Credentialing includes the affiliated hospital in Sanford and freestanding EDs in the Casselberry, West Volusia, Heathrow, and Wekiva areas

Requirements:
- BC/BE Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)
- FM or IM board certified physicians considered only with 6,000+ ED hours and full-time ED work for the past 3 years
- ACLS and PALS required; ATLS recommended
- Active Florida license and DEA
