Locum Emergency Medicine Physician | Regional Medical Center ED | Poplar Bluff, MO | 12-Hour Shifts, No Call

Job description

Start: As soon as credentialed
Length: Ongoing
Coverage: Emergency department
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:00–19:00, 10:00–22:00, or 19:00–7:00; weekends required
Call: No call; scheduled clinical hours only
Volume: About 20–24 patients per day
Practice Setting: Regional acute care hospital with anesthesia, cath lab, general, orthopedic, and vascular surgery, and radiology support

• Emergency evaluation, treatment, and disposition of ED patients
• PA/NP support
• Documentation in Cerner
• Travel covered within caps

Requirements
• ABEM Board Certification required
• Active Missouri license and DEA required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred (AHA or ARC)
• Must live 90+ miles from the facility
• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Credentialing: approximately 120 days
