Start: Flexible
Length: Permanent, full-time
Coverage: Emergency department
Schedule: Physician coverage varies by day of week
Volume: About 35,000 annual visits (about 95 per day); about 1.6 patients per hour; 17% admission rate
Practice Setting: Acute care hospital ED with 14 rooms, 1 trauma bay, 12 vertical care areas, and 6 hallway beds; approved expansion adding 8 rooms, a trauma bay, and a fast-track remodel; trauma designation pending

• Emergency evaluation, treatment, and disposition of ED patients
• Strong APP support with multiple overlapping shifts
• Growing department with planned expansion

Requirements
• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine with ED experience
• Texas license (or eligible)
