Locum Emergency Medicine Physician | PRN Float, Corpus Christi Area EDs | TX | ABEM Only, 12-Hour Shifts

Job description

Start: January 4, 2027 (ASAP)
Length: Ongoing
Coverage: PRN float across hospital and freestanding emergency departments in the Corpus Christi area
Schedule: PRN; 6a-6p or 6p-6a; day and night shifts available throughout the assignment
Call: None
Practice Setting: Hospital ED and freestanding EDs
EMR: Meditech
Orientation: 2-hour onboarding plus 2-3 shadow shifts
Procedures: Intubation, central lines, ultrasound, OB delivery, dislocation reductions, chest tubes, trauma management, laceration repair; all sites see high acuity including STEMI and stroke

Requirements:
- ABEM board certification required (ABEM-only site)
- Active Texas license and DEA
- Credentialing: approximately 60-90 days
