Emergency Medicine APP needed for a locums opportunity in Destin, Florida. This is a coastal ER need for an experienced NP or PA who is comfortable with a busy emergency department and flexible shift coverage.

Rate: $68/hr
Setting: Emergency Department
Location: Destin, FL
Annual Volume: About 55k
Average Department Volume: About 155 patients per day
Pediatric Volume: About 30 pediatric patients per day
Admission Rate: 25 percent
APP Patient Volume: About 1.7 patients per hour
Facility Average: About 1.55 patients per hour per provider
Physician Coverage: 42 hours daily
Monthly Need: 60 to 120 hours monthly
Schedule Need: 10 to 12 shifts per month
Shift Flexibility: Must be able to work all shifts
Current Shift Options: 6a to 6p, 9a to 7p, 12p to 10p, and 6p to 6a
Summer Schedule: Expected to move toward 12 hour shifts
Temp Privileges: Available for clean files

Requirements:
NP or PA
Emergency Room experience required
Minimum 1 year of ER experience
2 years of ER experience preferred
Level 2 or higher experience preferred
Must be able to work all shifts
Must be comfortable in a higher volume ER setting
