Position Overview
Seeking experienced Emergency Medicine APPs for ongoing coverage in a busy Emergency Department environment. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling, strong physician support, and a broad mix of day and night shifts in a high-volume setting.

Assignment Details

ASAP start
Ongoing coverage need
10–12 shifts per month
Providers must be willing to work all shift types
Flexible scheduling available
60–120 hours per month available

Shift Schedule
Current schedules include:

6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

As seasonal volume increases, all shifts will transition to 12-hour coverage.

Practice Setting

Inpatient Emergency Department
Approximately 55,000 annual patient visits
Strong physician coverage model with 42 physician coverage hours daily

Patient Volume

Average physician volume: 1.55 patients per hour
APP average: 1.7 patients per hour

Requirements

Active state license required
Minimum 1 year Emergency Medicine experience required
2+ years preferred
Prior Level II Trauma Center experience or higher strongly preferred
Must be comfortable working days, nights, and varied schedules

Credentialing

Estimated timeframe: 60–90 days
Temporary privileges available for providers with a clean file
