Join a collaborative Emergency Medicine team in Massachusetts providing care in a Level III hospital environment. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced APP who can step in quickly, manage lower-acuity emergency patients, and thrive in a team-based setting alongside dedicated attending physicians.

Schedule
Preferred: 4 x 10-hour shifts per week
Open to: 3 x 10-hour shifts weekly
Minimum commitment: 2 x 10-hour shifts per week
Alternative schedule considered: 3 x 8-hour shifts for 2 weeks per month
Primarily night coverage
Typical shift hours: 7:00 PM – 5:00 AM (flexibility available)

Clinical Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage lower-acuity emergency department patients
Work side-by-side with Emergency Medicine attending physicians
Participate in a shared visit care model
Diagnose and treat a broad range of bread-and-butter Emergency Medicine presentations
Order and interpret diagnostic studies
Develop treatment plans and coordinate patient disposition
Patient Volume
Approximately 15–20 patients per 10-hour shift
Average of 1.5 patients per hour
Requirements
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Active Massachusetts license preferred
Will consider licensing candidates for Physician Assistants
DEA required
BLS required
Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience
Must be comfortable hitting the ground running in a busy ED environment
Credentialing
Emergency privileges available
Estimated credentialing timeframe: 30–60 days
