We are seeking an Emergency Medicine NP/PA for an ongoing assignment in Del Rio, Texas.

Start Date: September 2026
Contract Length: 3 months to 1 year
Schedule:

MD shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
APP shifts: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM and 4:00 PM – 2:00 AM
Practice Setting: Hospital

Assignment Details:
• Level IV trauma center with 12 ED beds and 4-bed express care
• Annual volume ~25,500 visits (approx. 70/day)
• Admission rate ~10%
• Broad specialty backup including surgery, OB/GYN, cardiology, pediatrics, and more
• EMR: Meditech Expanse
• Open to locums, perm, and locums-to-perm candidates
License: Active Texas License Required (IMLC accepted)
Requirements:
• ACLS, ATLS, and PALS required
• Must be comfortable working in a lower-acuity community ED
Credentialing: Approximately 90–160 days
Travel: Airfare, lodging, and car rental will be covered
