Job description

Emergency Medicine APP needed for a Virginia ER locums opportunity. This need is mostly at the main hospital facility, with cross credentialing at a nearby freestanding ED.

Opportunity Details:
Rate: $95/hr
Setting: Hospital based ER with nearby freestanding ED coverage
Location: Southwest Virginia
Annual Volume: About 32k
Trauma Level: Level 3
Hospital Beds: 88
EMR: Meditech
Physician Coverage: 32 hours daily
APP Coverage: 32 hours daily
Shift Times: 7a to 7p, 2p to 10p, and 7p to 7a
Freestanding ED Shift Times: 7a to 7p and 7p to 7a
Coverage Need: Majority of need at main hospital
Cross Credentialing: Required at nearby freestanding ED
Schedule Note: Must be willing to work nights
Hospital Highlights: Magnet hospital, accredited chest pain center, cardiovascular services, orthopedic and cardiac support

Requirements:
NP or PA
Active VA license required to start credentialing
Active VA DEA required to start credentialing
ATLS, PALS, and ACLS required
Emergency Medicine experience preferred
Must be open to night shifts
Must be willing to cross credential at nearby freestanding ED
