NP/PA Emergency Medicine - Locum Tenens - Portage, WI Area

Job description

A community hospital in the Portage, WI area is seeking an experienced NP or PA for Emergency Medicine locum tenens coverage. The facility serves a combined ED/Urgent Care setting and sees approximately 40-60 patients per 24 hours, with 13 beds in the department and a collaborative Hospitalist, General Surgery, Orthopedics, and L&D team. Telestroke, Tele-ICU and an on-site helicopter support care. Scenic location 30 minutes from Madison and 20 minutes from the Wisconsin Dells tourist corridor.

Schedule: 9a-9p and 11a-11p shifts, approximately 8-12 shifts per month, ongoing. Start date 7/6/2026. EMR: Epic. ACLS and PALS required. WI license or IMLC required. Board-certified NP-EM or PA-EM strongly preferred. Typical patients per shift: ~20.
