PA – Emergency Medicine Locum Tenens – Butte, MT

Job description

A community hospital-based practice in the Butte, Montana area is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant for locum tenens coverage in their Emergency Department. This is a Trauma Level 3 facility serving the region.

Coverage Details:
- Schedule: 11 AM – 11 PM shifts in the Emergency Department
- Will be on shift with a physician for collaborative care
- ED averages approximately 50 patients in a 24-hour period, with peak volumes from 11 AM – 11 PM

Requirements:
- Experience in independent management of all levels of patients in an ED setting with physician back-up
- Ability to lead codes and perform intubation
- Active PA license (Montana licensure required)
