Job description

A community hospital in the Clinton, NC area is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for locum tenens coverage. Open shifts include July 1st, 2nd, and 6th from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Setting & Volume: Two-physician, two-midlevel split coverage model (physicians 9A-9P, PAs 12P-12A). Annual patient volume approximately 32,000 with daily volume of 90-100 patients. Open ICU with 2 physicians and 2 mid-levels splitting coverage. EMR: Meditech 6.1.

Requirements: Current NCCPA Certification, active NC licensure, NC Medicaid credentialing, and PECOS enrollment are all required. *** Please note: providers must be enrolled in NC Medicaid and/or PECOS to be considered. ***

Benefits: Hospital-owned apartment housing provided. Travel costs reimbursed up to $500.
