Locum Emergency Medicine Physician | Acute Care ED | Sierra Vista, AZ | 7–14 Shifts/Month, No Call

Job description

Start: December 14, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: 13 weeks
Coverage: Emergency department
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:00–19:00, 10:00–22:00, or 19:00–7:00; 7–14 shifts per month
Call: No call
Volume: About 30,000 annual ED visits; 23% admission rate
Practice Setting: Acute care hospital with a 12-bed ICU

• Emergency evaluation, treatment, and disposition of ED patients
• Supervision of APPs required
• Documentation in Cerner
• Temporary privileges available with a clean file

Requirements
• ABEM Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC Family Medicine accepted)
• Active Arizona license required
• ATLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Cerner experience required
• Credentialing: approximately 90 days
