Facility:
This healthcare system operates two emergency departments providing comprehensive emergency services to the North Coast community. The facilities feature a combined 32-bed emergency department with Level 3 trauma capabilities and full support services available 24/7 including anesthesia, general surgery, cardiology, and radiology services.

Opportunity:
Physician - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:
• Provide emergency medicine coverage at two hospital locations in Fortuna and Eureka
• Currently seeking night shift providers only - day shift only candidates will not be considered
• Available shift times include 6a-2p, 8a-4p, and 1p-11p
• Average patient volume of 110 patients in 24 hours
• Guaranteed 8 hours per shift with overtime applying after 12 hours
• Must maintain active California medical license
• Board certification required: ABEM or ABEOM certified (ABIM/ABFM not accepted)
• Must be board certified or board eligible within 5 years
• Required certifications include ACLS and BLS
• Level 3 trauma facility with full support services available 24/7
• Must have 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in emergency medicine
• Any practice gaps greater than 3 months must be explained
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
• $25 per hour night shift incentive available for confirmed providers

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
