Job Description
Noor Locums is actively seeking two Emergency Medicine Physicians for an ongoing locum tenens assignment covering two well-established hospitals on California's scenic North Coast. This opportunity is ideal for physicians seeking consistent emergency department coverage with flexible scheduling and competitive incentives.

The client is currently prioritizing physicians willing to work night shifts. Providers who are only available for daytime coverage will not be considered at this time.

Physicians will join collaborative Emergency Department teams caring for a diverse patient population in busy inpatient settings utilizing Epic EMR. The departments collectively average approximately 110 Emergency Department visits every 24 hours and offer comprehensive emergency care supported by experienced clinical teams.

This assignment is driven by a long-term physician vacancy, providing excellent continuity and ongoing monthly coverage opportunities.

Job Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with acute illnesses and traumatic injuries.
Perform comprehensive emergency medical assessments across all acuity levels.
Stabilize critically ill and injured patients requiring emergent intervention.
Perform emergency procedures consistent with Emergency Medicine practice.
Interpret laboratory results, ECGs, diagnostic imaging, and other studies.
Collaborate with nursing staff, consultants, EMS providers, and hospital personnel.
Document patient encounters accurately using Epic EMR.
Coordinate patient disposition, transfers, and specialty consultations.
Deliver evidence-based emergency care while maintaining quality and patient safety standards.

Qualifications
Required
MD or DO
Active California Medical License
Board Certified or Board Eligible (within five years) in Emergency Medicine
ABEM or ABEOM certification
Current DEA registration
Minimum of 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in Emergency Medicine
Complete employment history with explanations for any gaps exceeding three months
Ability to provide 2–3 professional references (including physician name, email, and phone number)

Overtime applies after 12 hours (pre-approval required)
No call
