Job description

Start: November 11, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: November shifts (11/11–12/1)
Coverage: Emergency department night shifts across two affiliated hospitals in the Eureka, CA area
Schedule: Night shifts, generally 21:00–6:00 or 23:00–8:00, with some 19:00–7:00 shifts; specific dates: 11/11–11/18, 11/20–11/25, 11/27–11/28, 11/29–12/1
Call: No call; scheduled clinical hours only
Practice Setting: Acute care hospital emergency departments (Level III trauma), 32-bed ED

• Emergency evaluation, treatment, and disposition of ED patients
• Night shift incentive available for confirmed providers
• Orientation completed the day before the first shift
• Documentation in Epic
• Travel covered

Requirements
• ABEM/AOBEM Board Certified (ABIM/ABFM not accepted)
• Active California license and DEA required
• BLS and ACLS required
• Clean file required for temporary privileges
• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Credentialing: approximately 15 days
