Position Overview
• Specialty: Emergency Medicine

• Contract Length: 3 months, with option to extend
• Practice Setting: Hospital
• Clinical Environment:
o Adult emergency medicine coverage
o Renovated 19 bed Emergency Department
o Approximately 27,000 annual ED visits
• Coverage Scope:
o Providers must be willing to support multiple affiliated freestanding emergency departments associated with the main hospital
• Orientation:
o 2 hour onboarding covering EMR and local quality measures
o Two shadow shifts required following onboarding
o Orientation and training modules are unpaid
• Local Restriction:
o No local candidates (must live 50+ miles from site)

o Providing high quality emergency care
o Participating in call coverage
o Collaborating closely with clinical staff to maintain patient care standards

Provider Requirements
• Board Certification:
o Board Certified or Board Eligible ABEM or AOBEM
o Must be residency trained in Emergency Medicine
• Licensure:
o Active Florida license required
o IMLC accepted
• DEA / CSR: Required per state law
• Experience:
o Must be comfortable practicing independently in a community ED setting
• Name Clear: Required prior to submission
