Job description

Emergency Medicine physicians needed for a Tampa Bay area ER locums opportunity. This is a Level 2 trauma setting with strong subspecialty backup, trauma surgeons and anesthesia in house 24/7, and support from APP coverage.

Opportunity Details:
Rate: $285/hr
Setting: Hospital based Emergency Department
Location: Tampa Bay area
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing, duration to be confirmed
Schedule: On site coverage, weekends, nights, and call coverage
Physician Coverage: 44 hours daily
APP Coverage: 42 hours daily
ED Beds: 30 bed ED, 5 fast track beds, and 2 trauma bay rooms
Trauma Level: Level 2
EMR: Meditech P Doc and M Modal Voice Dictation
Support: Strong subspecialty backup, trauma surgeons, and anesthesia in house 24/7
Orientation: Facility orientation, EMR training, and additional shadow day
Additional Coverage: Must be willing to work at associated freestanding ER sites
Emergency Privileges: Possible, to be confirmed

Requirements:
ABEM only
ATLS required
Emergency Medicine physician
Must be comfortable in a Level 2 trauma setting
Must be willing to cover associated freestanding ER sites
Case logs may be required
