Job description

Emergency Medicine physicians needed for a Central Florida ER locums opportunity through HealthTrust. Coverage includes a main hospital campus and affiliated freestanding ERs in the surrounding area.

Opportunity Details:
Rate: $285/hr
Setting: Main hospital ER and affiliated freestanding ERs
Location: Central Florida
Start Date: June 2026
Need: Equivalent of 2 full time physicians
Schedule: Days, nights, and weekends
Shift Length: Main hospital may consider shorter shifts, freestanding ERs require 12 hour shifts
Interview: Site directors will phone interview potential locum providers
EMR: To be confirmed
Coverage Note: Preference for providers open to both main hospital and affiliated freestanding ER coverage
Support: Freestanding ERs provide emergency services, laboratory, and imaging services

Requirements:
ABEM or AOBEM preferred
BC in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine may be considered with 3 years direct EM experience
ACLS and PALS required for FP or IM boarded physicians
Must be flexible to work days, nights, and weekends
Must be open to associated freestanding ER coverage
