Locum Emergency Medicine Physician | Freestanding ED | Lutz, FL | PRN 12-Hour Shifts, No Call, ABEM

Job description

Start: January 4, 2027 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: Ongoing PRN coverage
Coverage: Freestanding emergency department
Schedule: 12-hour shifts; AM and PM shifts available
Call: No call
Practice Setting: Freestanding emergency department

• Emergency evaluation, treatment, and disposition of ED patients
• 5 concurrent EM providers with standard ED support staff
• Orientation: 1 day of orientation followed by 1–2 shadow shifts
• Emergency privileges available for candidates with a clean file and a commitment of 10+ shifts per month

Requirements
• ABEM Board Certification required (new graduates must meet the ABEM requirement; primary care physicians not accepted)
• Active Florida license and DEA required
• Case logs required
• Must be open to PRN scheduling
