Job description

Start: January 4, 2027 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: Ongoing PRN coverage
Coverage: Emergency department, single-physician coverage
Schedule: 12-hour shifts; day and night shifts available
Call: No call
Volume: Low expected volume (new department opening); low admission rate
Practice Setting: New emergency department, 12 ED bays, non-trauma

• Emergency evaluation, treatment, and disposition of low-acuity ED patients
• Independent single-coverage practice with standard ED support staff
• No nurse/APP triage
• Orientation and shadow shifts required for providers new to the system
• Travel covered: flight, lodging, and rental car

Requirements
• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Internal Medicine (EM experience preferred)
• Comfortable with independent, single-coverage practice
• Active Florida license and DEA required
• Must be open to PRN scheduling
• Non-local candidates only (more than 50 miles from the facility)
• Credentialing: approximately 90 days
