Locum Emergency Medicine Physician | Hospital ED + Freestanding EDs | Casselberry (Orlando Area), FL | PRN, No Call

Job description

Start: January 4, 2027 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: Ongoing PRN coverage
Coverage: Emergency medicine at a main hospital ED and affiliated freestanding EDs in the greater Orlando area
Schedule: Days, nights, and weekends; freestanding EDs require 12-hour shifts; the main hospital may consider shorter shifts
Call: No call
Practice Setting: Acute care hospital ED and freestanding emergency departments

• Emergency evaluation, treatment, and disposition of ED patients
• Preference for providers willing to work at both the main hospital and freestanding EDs
• Phone interview with site directors
• Travel covered: flight, lodging, and rental car

Requirements
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)
• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Board Certified physicians considered with 3+ years and 6,000+ hours of direct EM experience
• Active Florida license and DEA required
• ACLS and PALS required; ATLS recommended
• Must be open to PRN scheduling
• Non-local candidates only (more than 50 miles from the facility)
• Credentialing: approximately 90 days
