24hr ER shifts available in Southern KY

Job description

Critical access hospital
24 beds (runs 80% subacute swing beds) 6 avg inpatients
EMR will be Epic January forward
Annual volume is 8,796 increasing yearly
2% admission rate
3% transfers
12 or 24 hour shifts (Physicians can get sleep here)
7a-7p and 7p-7a
Respond to codes in nursing home (located on same campus) –on average once every 2 shifts – typically it is related to a fall or stoke assessment and they see the patient quickly and have them brought over to the ED
Open to BC/BE EM/FM/IM
Need BLS, ACLS, PALS and ATLS
60-90 day credentialing
