LOCUM EMERGENCY MEDICINE PHYSICIAN

We are seeking a qualified Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum opportunity in a busy Level III Trauma Center Emergency Department.

FACILITY DETAILS

✓ Level III Trauma Center

✓ 32 Emergency Department Beds

✓ Approximately 55,000 annual ER visits

✓ EMR: Meditech

✓ Approximately 30% of ED patients are admitted

✓ APP coverage available

✓ Admissions are handled by the Hospitalist or appropriate admitting service

✓ Emergency Medicine physicians are not responsible for codes

✓ Deliveries are sent directly to Labor & Delivery

✓ ED physicians are responsible for monitoring/supervising paramedics and ambulance communication by radio

SCHEDULE

✓ 8-hour, 11-hour, and 12-hour shifts available

✓ Provider availability must be provided at the time of submission

REQUIREMENTS

✓ ABEM Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency

✓ Current BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications required

✓ Active Massachusetts medical license highly preferred

✓ Massachusetts licensed providers will receive priority consideration

✓ Clean background required for expedited credentialing

✓ Must be a local provider — no flights

✓ NPDB Self-Query completed within the past month required at presentation
