Emergency Medicine Physician Needed – Michigan Night and Evening Shifts Available May through October

A Michigan facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician for ongoing coverage from May through October. Most shifts are evenings and nights, with some daytime availability. This is an excellent opportunity for a local physician looking for consistent scheduling and a supportive clinical environment.

Recruitment gap coverage

Average 80 patients per day, approximately 1.8 patients per hour for physicians

APP on site 12 hours per day

Full ED support staff including nursing, tech, radiology, and lab

EMR: Cerner

Required skills include adult and pediatric outpatient, newborn resuscitation, fracture management, suturing, I&D, psychiatric evaluations, ventilation management, central and arterial line placement, EKG interpretation, arthrocentesis, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, and other EM procedures

Board Certified required

Michigan license required at time of submission, not accepting IMLC

BLS required

Must be local with clean background for quick credentialing

Lodging covered up to $150 nightly and mileage reimbursement provided

Malpractice must be included in rate

Orientation paid at half hourly rate
