Job Details
Community based Emergency Department in Meridian MS seeking an EM physician who can cover 5 or more shifts per month. You will work 12 hr shifts in a busy level 3 trauma center seeing 30k to 35k patients per year. One APP is on during mid day hours but you must be comfortable working independently at times.
Board and Training Requirements
• Current board certification or board eligible in EM FM or IM with strong ER experience and active participation in the board process
• Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA approved residency
• Residents in year 2 or above may be considered for EM privileges per hospital policy
Experience Requirements
• Active EM practice in the past 12 months required
• Exceptions may be considered by hospital committees for extenuating circumstances
Certifications
• BLS
• ACLS
• ATLS
