About the clinician's workday

The Emergency Medicine Physician will provide locum tenens clinical coverage during 12-hour day and night shifts (6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM) at this on-site emergency department, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients of all ages presenting with a variety of emergency conditions. The department operates 10 beds and receives approximately 13,000 annual visits. Clinicians will perform necessary emergency procedures and coordinate patient admissions or transfers as clinically indicated throughout each assigned shift. No call responsibilities are associated with this position, and prescriptive authority is required.
