POSITION OVERVIEW

Join a well-established pediatric hospitalist team at a children's medical center in Summerlin, Nevada.

34-bed pediatric floor with an average daily census of 24

12-bed PICU supported by affiliated pediatric intensivists

Dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department

Full pediatric subspecialty support

Academic opportunities to teach pediatric residents and medical students


SCHEDULE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Hospital rounding with call from home

Provide inpatient pediatric care

Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists and hospital teams

Participate in teaching opportunities


REQUIREMENTS

Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Pediatric Hospital Medicine/PEM, within five years of eligibility

At least one year of current inpatient hospitalist experience

Must provide case logs covering the most recent 12 months of hospital practice at interview

Nevada medical license or willingness to obtain one

Clean malpractice and license history preferred

DEA and Nevada CSR/CDS required before starting

Additional Details:

Relocation may be required; local residency may be expected

Candidates with lapsed board certification are not eligible
