Locum Emergency Medicine Physician | Community Hospital ED | Santa Fe, NM | Day, Swing & Night Shifts, No Call

Job description

Start: November 2, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: 13 weeks
Coverage: Emergency department
Schedule: 7:00–19:00 (12 hours), 14:00–23:00 (9 hours), or 19:00–7:00 (12 hours)
Call: No call
Volume: About 26,000 annual ED visits; 30 ED beds
Practice Setting: Acute care hospital (non-trauma); 4-bed open ICU

• Emergency evaluation, treatment, and disposition of ED patients
• APP supervision (APPs do not work nights)
• Floor code response required
• Documentation in Epic

Requirements
• ABEM Board Certification required
• Active New Mexico license required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS required
• Credentialing: approximately 120 days
