This regional medical center serves as a vital healthcare hub for the surrounding community, providing comprehensive emergency and medical services. The facility features a 22-bed emergency department with strong support services and maintains an open ICU to ensure quality patient care.

Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:
• Provide standard solo Emergency Room coverage for 12-hour night shifts (7P-7A)
• Coverage needed for July 4th through July 7th weekend
• Work alongside 1 physician with 2 mid-level providers in split coverage model
• Handle 18-20 patients per 12-hour shift with daily volume of 90-100 patients
• Annual patient volume of approximately 32,000
• Utilize Meditech 6.1 EMR system
• Must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS
• Board certification required with North Carolina medical license
• 24-hour support services include Anesthesia, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and Radiology
• Labor & Delivery department available but newborn deliveries not received in ED
• Hospital-owned apartment accommodations provided
• Travel costs capped at $500
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 14 days

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
