Emergency Medicine physician needed for a North Carolina ER locums opportunity. This is a hospital based ER role with 24 hour physician coverage and strong NP/PA support.

Opportunity Details:
Rate: $300/hr
Setting: Hospital based Emergency Department
Location: North Carolina
Annual Volume: About 24k
ED Beds: 12 ED beds plus 5 fast track beds
EMR: Cerner
Coverage Model: 24 hours of physician coverage daily
APP Coverage: 20 to 24 hours of NP/PA coverage daily
Case Logs: Past 2 years required or activity verification form completed with hospital application
CME: CME attestation or proof of CME from past 2 years required

Requirements:
Active NC license required
NC address DEA with schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5 required
BC or BE in EM, FP, or IM
Must be BC within 5 years of residency
Recent grads accepted
AAPS and ABPS boards accepted
ACLS, PALS, and ATLS required if not ABEM boarded
Flu vaccine within current year
TB 2 step PPD or Q Gold within last 12 months
Must be comfortable with all requested privileges on DOP
Health status statement required from a provider other than the clinician
Malpractice coverage requirement: $1M/$3M
