Emergency Medicine physicians needed for a North Carolina ER locums opportunity through Sound. This need includes coverage across two hospital based ER sites within the same system, with mandatory cross credentialing.

Cross Credentialing: Required
Physician Shifts: Days and nights
Estimated Physician Shift Times: 6a to 6p, 6p to 6a, and 7a to 7p depending on site
Temp Privileges: Available for clean files
License: Active NC license, NC license in process, or IMLC considered
Credentialing Notes: Application link expires within 48 hours if not opened
Peer References: Must have worked with clinician within the last 2 years
Work History Verification: 10 years
Affiliations Verification: 10 years
Malpractice Verification: 5 years
Case Logs: Past 2 years required
CME: Past 2 years required
COI: Past 5 years required
Immunizations: TB within last 12 months, flu or exemption, COVID if available
Orientation: Still being finalized

Requirements:
BC in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine
Active NC license, NC license in process, or IMLC
ACLS required if not board certified in Emergency Medicine
Life certifications must be AHA
Case logs from past 2 years
CME from past 2 years
Peer references from clinicians who worked with provider within the last 2 years
Must be open to cross credentialing at both sites
