Position Overview:
A hospital in Ahoskie, North Carolina is seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens coverage in the Emergency Department. This is a great opportunity for physicians looking for flexible night shift coverage in a supportive clinical setting.

Coverage Needed:
Night Shifts (7:30 PM – 7:30 AM) (credentialed providers only)

• August 14

• August 16

• August 24

Candidates must arrive the day prior for orientation.

Position Details:

• Emergency Department with 15 beds

• Annual ED volume: ~22,250 visits

• Average patients per day: 65

• EMR: EPIC

• Air and ground transport available for rapid patient transfer

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine OR

  • Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM) with Emergency Medicine experience

• Minimum of 2 years Emergency Medicine experience

• Active BLS, ACLS, and ATLS certifications (AHA required)

• Active North Carolina medical license

• Efficient transfer system in place for higher acuity patients
