Facility:
This regional medical center serves the surrounding community with a 22-bed emergency department and an annual patient volume of approximately 32,000 visits. The facility features an open ICU model and has key support services available including anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and radiology, along with an on-site labor and delivery department.

Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

• Provide standard solo emergency room coverage for 12-hour shifts (both day and night shifts available)
• Physicians typically see 18-20 patients per 12-hour shift with a daily department volume of 90-100 patients
• Work alongside 2 mid-level providers in a 1 physician/2 mid-level split coverage model
• EMR system: Meditech 6.1
• Provider must hold an active NC license or IMLC licensure
• Provider must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS prior to submission
• Board certification required at a minimum certified level
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 14 days
