The facility features an open ICU model, 24-hour support from anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and radiology services, as well as an on-site Labor & Delivery department.

Physician (MD) - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens opportunity providing standard solo Emergency Room coverage for 12-hour shifts
• Available shifts include select dates in December with both 7A-7P and 7P-7A coverage
• Physicians typically see 18-20 patients per 12-hour shift with a daily department volume of 90-100 patients
• 1 physician working alongside 2 mid-level providers per shift
• EMR system: Meditech 6.1
• Provider must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS prior to submission
• Active NC license or IMLC required
• Board certification required (minimum: certified)
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 14 days
• Housing provided in hospital-owned apartments
