The facility offers hospital-owned apartment accommodations for providers and has a robust annual patient volume of 32,000 with key support services including anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and radiology available 24 hours.

Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:

• Provide standard solo emergency room coverage for 12-hour shifts (7A-7P)
• Physicians typically see 18-20 patients per 12-hour shift with a daily department volume of 90-100 patients
• Work alongside 2 mid-level providers in a 1 physician/2 mid-level split coverage model
• Provider must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS prior to submission
• Must hold an active NC license or IMLC licensure
• Board certification required (minimum certified)
• EMR system is Meditech 6.1
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 14 days
• Hospital-owned apartments provided for housing
